Hi,
Welcome to my world of Caribbean Historical Fiction. Thank you for being part of my universe. It means the 'world to me.' 2022 is here ( as I write this I got the notification that New Zealand and Tonga have already waved goodbye to 2021) and as we begin this turn around the sun I thought I would bring you along on 'my 365 Day Writing experience.' by engaging you in my writing process. Naw, you are not going to get mail from me every day, although I will commit to posting on my blog daily. You can follow me here: What does that mean for you? Every Friday in 2022, I will send you an email giving you an update (and evidence) of my writing progress. I will include excerpts from my Work IN Progress and FREEBIES and exclusive content for you from my author friends.
You get the first bite of the mango. ( I hope you like mangoes).
Where am I?
Right here in Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean.
We have finally been granted access to the beaches, so you may just catch me soaking in the salt for a few.

What am I working on?
Dame Lorraine, the final novel in the Scotland Ba the Return series.
I can't tell you more at the moment because well???? I'm still fleshing out and polishing this villain and for those of you engrossed in the series I hope you are sitting and comfortable when you get to the climax of this novel. EXPLOSIVE!

WHAT'S THE SERIES ABOUT?
Scotland Bay the Return, is a six-book dual timeline series set in the original Le Noireau story world of Scotland Bay, Trinidad, 1941 and 1981. The characters are the protagonist, antagonist, and descendants of the original cast from the 2008 Le Noireau novel.
That epic fight in 1941, between Astral Le Noireau and her uncle Orleans for the Le Noireau estate, spills into the 1980s and traverses continents on both sides of the Atlantic.
This new series is set in London, Washington DC, and Scotland Bay, Trinidad.
The Legacy (Book 1) begins in March 1981.
The cast of characters is as diverse as the tropes that are woven into the narrative of the series.
Astral Le Noireau and her adult children, Rhys, and Renee present a complex family dynamic that is relatable to families within the Caribbean diaspora.
Hamilton Roche (Kings of the Caribbean) a long-time, Trinidadian resident, straddles both eras. His offspring, Desmond and Annalise are the catalysts for relationships that may lead to happy-ever-afters.
Life as we know it is never one-dimensional and no story is complete without angst and conflict.
In Scotland Bay and Trinidad, 1941 bad-boy; Lucien Bouisguard, love-struck, Winslow Gayle and orphan, Florine Bruce, lurk in the shadows threatening potential first loves and second chances.
Across the Atlantic, on distant shores, Veteran World War 11 Naval officer, Rainer Mac Laine, and Military Attache, Major Louis Bouisguard form an unlikely alliance.
It is left to be seen whether they can mend the fragments of a long-standing 'family' feud and save the Le Noireaus from total destruction.
Catch your breath folks. Isn't family lovely?
